Christina and Adam wanted the natural beauty of PEI in their engagement photos, and it was her idea to include a fishing village. I literally just went online and googled, "Nicest PEI fishing villages"! At the top of the list was Malpeque Harbour, and I agree with Google. Google is SMART. Having never been to Malpeque, I got directions from my Bampy (aka Grandfather), because he's even smarter than Google. This place is stunning...fishing village with a gorgeous restaurant, a deep sea fishing tour, dunes, and a beautiful beach. I wish I lived closer!
***As a side-note, a big THANK YOU to the kind lady at the Deep Sea Fishing Tours, who took pity on this poor preggo lady after my long drive, and let me in to use her washroom! Hooray for PEI hospitality :)
Christina and Adam...I had such a fun evening photographing your beautiful faces, and I'm so excited for your wedding! Hope you love your images!
One of my favourites. Just so, so pretty!
We had to be super careful about what boats were in the background. Nobody wants the words, "The Frayed Knot", in their engagement photos ;)
Everyone says (and yes, I've also said) that slightly overcast is better for your light. I agree sometimes...like if you have to shoot midday. But THIS light is what makes me the happiest :) These shots were taken about 30 minutes before sundown. I'm still drooling.
True love means helping to scratch the sand...and mosquitoes...out of your fiancé's hair.
